SDK v1 of Cisco Cius

The release date for the developer SDK v1 of Cisco Cius is September 30, 2010. This SDK will have the standard android API’s and an android emulator with CIUS skin. So if you want to develop for Cisco Cius, the required Development Tools will be :

Android SDK + Android Emulator + Cius Skin

There will be another release (v2) that will have other API’s which will enable the developer to take advantage of other Cisco Unified Communication and Collaboration API’s, such as to WebEx etc.

Also news is that Cisco will have a marketplace which will highlight developer applications and provide links to the Android Appstore for distribution and ecommerce.
